The FX400 System uses the Power Plus 1 Pressure Plate with a custom, extremely durable, sprung ceramic disc. This is the ultimate extreme duty street and/or road/drag racing system. It has a 6 wing (paddle) configuration, a 4-wing configuration is also available by special request. The sprung hub design allows for moderate dampening in high-torque applications, rendering it much more streetable than solid or rigid designs. This disc is designed for long life, outstanding holding capacity, and rapid heat dissipation.

About Clutchmasters
Historically high performance clutches have been a compromise. While improving holding or clamping pressure manufacturers nearly always increase pedal pressure to an uncomfortable point especially for stop-and-go traffic.
Besides drivebility concerns additional pedal pressure can adversely affect stock clutch linkage and cause premature thrust bearing wear leading to missed shifts damaged clutch components and even engine destruction.
Today thanks to Clutch Masters increased holding pressure does not necessarily mean increased pedal pressure and the problems that can accompany it. By re-engineering the leverage or fulcrum point on the pressure plate through their Hi-Leveragetm ttechnique Clutch Masters has increased clamping power often without changing pedal pressure.
Excessively increased pedal pressure as found in many of todays traditional high performance clutches places an unsafe amount of pressure on the delicate crankshaft thrust bearing found in most of todays sport compact automobiles. Placing undue stress on the thrust bearing typically causes the bearing to wear prematurely or fail altogether. This failure can lead to catastrophic internal engine damage.
A clutch simply put is a friction device that disengages and engages the engine from the transmission to allow for transition from motionless to movement and for gear changes. For street applications a smooth transition of power is essential while still being able to transfer all the power of the engine to the transmission. As power output of engines increase and demands on clutches become greater - for example high performance street or racing cars - the holding and clamping capacity of a clutch also must increase. This is where Clutch Masters innovative engineering comes into play.

K-TUNED Race-Spec Pro Billet DC5 Shifter Box. It is no secret that K-Tuned is in close contact with the drivers of some of the fastest import race cars in the world. So when Spoon Sports of Japan asked us for a Billet DC5 TYPE R Shifter to use in an endurance road race car they were working on, we graciously accepted their request. In conjunction with Spoon Sports, feedback from several other racers influenced and accelerated the design of our Race-Spec Billet DC5 TYPE R Shifter that was already on the design table. At a quick glance, the shifter closely resembles the original design with a few changes made to the shift lever and elbow to support the high demands of race cars.
The Race-Spec Shifter uses a simpler fixed elbow position, which is only height adjustable and ideal for circuit racers who really like to use the tallest setting. For drag racers, this design is perfect for heavy shifting in cars with dog box transmissions and straight cut gears. Unlike a stock transmission, most of us know that you can't shift a dog box setup with light hands. The K-Tuned Pro Billet DC5 TYPE R Shifter is a direct replacement for the OEM 2001-2006 DC5 shifter box and was been designed to work with both factory and aftermarket shifter cables.

Often the cause of squeaks & always a good idea to change these at the same time as the clutch to avoid any prolonged issues.
Bought as a gift. There was a delay in shipping the item due to stock issues but communication was very good throughout with updates concerning dispatch. I was offered a full refund however I was happy to wait. Mirror is exactly as described. My experience with automek was great even with the delay.
Great weight, feels much better than the oem fn2 shifter and does the job perfectly. Also looks great. Automek supplied and the turn around was fast, great bunch of people and would definitely recommend
Upgraded Flywheel at same time as Stage 3 McLeod Clutch
Massive difference with new flywheel and stage 3 clutch, car seems more eager to go. Its a heavy setup but after 2 or 3 weeks I was used to it, now I don't even notice it on the daily commute nor on the spirited jaunt to Fort William from East Kilbride. When the mood or need takes me to get up the revs the car feels like it gets there more freely.
Was wanting to do an oil change at home & needed a genuine Honda Hamp filter. Ordered & chose click & collect. Item was in stock and was notified that it was ready to collect within 15mns of the order! Grabbed it same day. Excellent service. Thanks Automek!
Needed a 5W40 engine oil for my Honda Civic EP3 Type R for a pre track service, contacted these guys to see what was in stock & they had several options on the shelf. Went down to the shop for advance and grabbed the Millers. It was really great to get some guidance on what to go for in person.
